Overview

During the Second Sino-Japanese War, Captain Kong Yuan of the New Fourth Army is captured while defending a munitions factory. His brother, Kong Fang, a math professor with knowledge of Japan, and his fiancée, a psychology professor, infiltrate the Japanese-occupied area with the help of the New Fourth Army.
